Jason Cooper grew up running the back country of the Chugiak Mountain Range in Alaska. He is wild at heart and has a passion for showing people the wild, fitness and that there is no impossible.
Jason has a CrossFit Level 1 Certificate. He has been a critical care nurse for over 16 years serving in both the emergency rooms and advanced trauma and neuro trauma ICU’s around the Houston Metroplex area. He has also served as a private consultant in The Texas Medical Center, the world’s largest medical center.
In addition to his CFL1 Jason has a BS in Exercise Physiology from the University of Houston and he is a Univeristy of Texas Medical Branch RN.
Jason enjoys pushing his limits running ultra marathons. He is an outspoken public advocate, educating the masses about the inner workings of hospitals, insurance companies and the misleadings of health care entities. He is a CrossFit Journal published author, an aspiring public speaker and a committed advocate for change.
